Hillary Earp, Developer
Hilary works as a support analyst, using her broad and substantial experience of ERP Finance and Distribution functions. Prior to joining Ceiba Solutions, she was a developer in CDC iRenaissance Finance team, a role built upon previous analysis, programming and support skills.
Hilary has a Degree in Psychology and Computing Science from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and lives in Ayrshire, Scotland.
Gina Goldenberg, Quality Assuarance/Process Analyst
Gina has 10 years of experience in life science and commercial bioinformatics software and validation. She has an extensive background in designing, implementing, and testing scientific software, and her expertise covers customer focused R&D software support, testing methodology, and code control.
She holds a M.Sc. Degree in Engineering and Computer Science from Astrakhan Institute of Technology. Gina’s knowledge of expression data analysis, genomics, proteomics, and mass spectrometry is an important asset to her customers and to the Ceiba Solutions Life Science team.
Cindy Chepanoske, PhD, Senior Application Scientist
Cindy received her Ph.D. from the Chemistry Department at the University of Utah and completed post-doctoral training in the Biology and Biotechnology Research Program at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. As a member of Ceiba’s Life Science Team, Cindy draws on over 7 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working as an Application Scientist with end user scientists, while also interfacing with the product development teams.
Cindy assists other scientists by providing advanced application support and training in a specialized environment in addition to providing input for study design and workflow implementation. Her bioinformatic data analysis expertise includes methodology for the statistical analysis of proteomics and metabolomics profiling experiments and her scientific product and project management expertise includes authoring and managing scientific user requirements, feature prioritization, and managing project timelines. Cindy also has extensive knowledge in preparing validation work plans, methods, and reports under GLP guidelines.
George Fletcher, Senior Technical Account Manager
George has over 20 years experience as a systems and software engineer, with seven years supporting customers in gene expression, genotyping and proteomics products. George has provided remote- and on-site configuration, maintenance and optimization of customer applications and systems, and has advised on server, PC, network and storage design and implementation. He is experienced in working with both end-users and administrators to deliver custom analysis and customized tools for customers.
Rich Estrin, Director of Development
Rich has over 15 years of experience in commercial software development and is the Director of the Life Science Software Development group. Rich joined Ceiba Solutions from Rosetta Biosoftware where he was a Senior Software Development Manager. In his nine years at Rosetta Biosoftware, Rich lead the development teams for all three of the Life Science products Ceiba Solutions now supports. He is a proven technical leader focused on customer satisfaction, and has a strong track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
Rich holds a B.S. of Computer Science from the University of Washington.
Bryan Spencer, Technical Consultant
Bryan has 10 years of infrastructure management experience. He has designed, implemented, and managed networks for large corporations. He has also developed complex infrastructure solutions for both remote management requirements as well as on-site requirements. Bryan brings over 10 years of Application Support and Development experience including Mobile application development, ERP integration development and level 1 data acquisition.
Bryan holds an MBA from the University of Alabama Birmingham.
Jay Hodgson, Senior Developer
Jay currently serves as a senior developer at Ceiba Solutions. He has been a key player in sustaining Rosetta Biosoftware product support, and brings years of experience developing scalable solutions within the Life Science domain. Prior to joining Ceiba Solutions, Jay was a Lead Software Developer at Rosetta Biosoftware, a subsidiary of Merck.
Jay holds a B.S. Degree in Computer Science from Western Washington University, and is a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java Platform.
Mari Miyamoto, Asia Pacific Technical Account Manager
Mari has 7 years experience working for Rosetta Biosoftware in customer support for Resolver, a gene expression data analysis software, and Syllego, a genotype data storage and analysis software. She previously worked for Microsoft and Bio-Rad, and is now part of the Ceiba Solutions Life Science team in Japan, supporting Japanese and other Asian customers of Rosetta Biosoftware.
Mari studied molecular biology, and is currently focusing on pattern recognition and machine learning at the Graduate University for Advanced Studies as a Ph.D. candidate.
Speaking both Japanese and English fluently, Mari likes to help and support biotech customers in Japan, and is looking forward to the opportunity to assist Ceiba Solutions customers in their research.
