Ceiba Dashboard
The Ceiba Dashboard is an innovative method for life science companies to manage and share data and information in a timely and efficient fashion. It uses some of the latest Internet-based technologies
to create collaborative processes that can link researchers during the process of drug discovery and development, for communicating across a network of companies contracted for production and
supply-chain activities, and even to bring life science companies closer to consumers.
There are a number of active Ceiba Dashboard projects that address the following areas of Life Science:
- Visibility into the supply-chain network of contracted entities who contribute to the drug development life cycle, including labs, testing facilities, manufacturers, packaging specialists, and distrubutors
- Accessabiility to any and all types of legal documentation associated with drug development and commercialization
- Manageability of chronic diseases through a solution that helps people manage their lifestyle environment, provide health information and alerts, and generate reminders of appointments, when to take medications or to perform measurements. Clinicians would also use this to track key patients who are at severe risk.
One representative Dashboard solution was recently developed with Novartis, called VaxTrak, an iPhone application that allows parents to monitor and manage their family immunization information and schedules, and to locate the nearest clinics.
The Ceiba Dashboard is used as a technology platform for constructing software products that enable collaborative processes within the Life Science domain.
