A midsized manufacturer in an FDA regulated industry purchased Salesforce.com to improve its control of the business. It was imperative that this new CRM solutions be integrated with its legacy business system, a commercial ERP application.
Ceiba Solutions offered to provide the application integration using its Ceiba Data Integrator, a “middleware” tool that handles all aspects of transaction and data integration. The CDi middleware has also been deployed in a Life Science company and was fully certified.
The customer, however, needed this to operate as a “hosted” solution, where the integration and the CRM application are installed in a remote environment maintained by Ceiba Solutions. The project was successfully completed using the Ceiba Agile Methodology, an ongoing collaborative process that insures a smooth transition to innovative improvements to the business.
